Ancient Coins Museum

The Ancient Coins Museum is the only one of its kind that is open to the public. The museum is housed in Dengshengmen, Arrow Tower, which has a history of more than 500 years. Various coins from the history of China such as the earliest shell coins, the cloth coins, the grimace money, coins from every dynasty, paper money from the Kuomingtang-ruled era are on display here . The coins also come in different shapes. Some are sword-like, some are round and some are square. They also differentiate in materials. Gold, silver, bronze, pottery, paper all were used in the making of coins. There are also coins markets here where you can buy and exhange coins and also have your coins examined by experts.
Features:The museum is dedicated to the collection, display, and exchange of ancient coins.

Transportation : Take Bus No. 5、27、44、55、315、345、380、815、919 and get off at Dengshengmen stop. Or take the subway and get off at Jishuitan station.
