The CCTV Headquarters Building, a 44-storey skyscraper, is one more landmark in the Beijing Central Business District. It is the headquarters of China Central Television (CCTV).

The building was finally compared in June 2012, after the damage of the north annex building during a fire in February 2009. The appearance of the main building is a loop consisting of six horizontal and vertical sections, also looks like a high-altitude bridge. The untraditional façade of the main building, causes the locals in Beijing jokingly gave a nickname to the CCTV Headquarters Building: da kucha (dà kùchǎ, 大裤衩, literally means "big undershorts").
See the Inside Structure
This towering building is 234 meters high. Visitors can an elevator direct from Basement 1 to the 37th floor, where visitors can see the inside structure of the building. On the 37th storey (more than 100 meters high), visitors can take a bird's eye view of Beijing through the toughened glass floor, which might be a challenge for some visitors.
A Five-Star Hotel
The CCTV Headquarters Building has two main functions: the television cultural center and a five-star hotel (with about 300 rooms). However, they are still under construction now. After it finished, the 4th and the 5th floors are equipped with a hotel lobby, shops, restaurants, and swimming pool. At the top of the building, specialty restaurant belonging to the hotel is situated.
