Old Beijing Walking Tour

Your will be picked up by our guide by 8:30 from your hotel and start your old Beijing walking tour. The first spot is Qianmen Street, one of the most famous and bustling commercial streets in Beijing. We visit the Kuideshe Theater in the Hutong, which is the smallest theater in Beijing. The folk artist will present several performances. After tasting some local snacks, we will continue to Tiananmen Square which is the largest city center square in the world. Leaving Tiananmen Square for Nanchangjie Avenue, it is a very relaxing walk under the shade of the scholar trees to the moat of the Forbidden City. The moat is rectangular in shape with willow trees both sides. Then to Jingsha Hill, which after, the climb to the top provides a fabulous bird’s eye of the 9999 rooms in the Forbidden City City. As the last stop we continue to the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower. These functioned as the reminder of Emperors time for prayer.
