The Mutianyu Great Wall Tour
Click to view the larger oneYou will be picked up from your hotel at about 8:30am by your guide who will accompany you on your one day tour. Then, head for Mutianyu Great Wall. This less-crowded section of the Great Wall is 90km NE of Beijing. Walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather. Here you have the option of taking the Cable car to the highest point or down to the foot in a few minutes instead of climbing more than 1,400 steps, while you can also have a bird view of the wall. After the late lunch, you'll be transferred to your hotel in downtown Beijing.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Jiankou is next to Mutianyu section, but it is far away from it. Based on this tour, the tourists won't go to Jiankou. The opening section of Mutianyu Great Wall is about 3km, so it takes about 2 hours for climbing.

Usually the tour starts around 8:30am, our guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby. It takes about 2.5 hours from downtown Beijing to the Mutianyu Great Wall, and you will back to your hotel around 5:30pm.
If the tour we provide to you is a private tour, You can ask the guide take you back earlier to your hotel, or you can choose to start the tour early that morning, the time is flexible and you can control the tour pace by yourself.

Welcome to China! Yes the cable cars will let you off on the top of the wall to allow some time to admire the scenery and walk around a bit. So you can take cable cars up and down the mountain.
