China Railway Corporation officially announced a new change on its train ticket sales policy on November 15, extending the sale period for bookings via internet and telephone from 20 days to 60 days ahead of departure. The new policy will take effect from December 1, 2014.
The new policy will increase the online sale period from 20 days to 30 days on December 1, and then add 6 additional days between December 2 and December 6 until the online sale period reaches 60 days on December 6, and thereafter. For bookings at stations, the ticket becomes available 2 days after it was available to book online.
This new policy will apply to the Spring Festival travel rush season (from February 4 to March 15, 2015) during which it is expected that 300 million people will travel by train. If you are going to travel during the period, please put your order in as early as you can up to 60 days beforehand. China Highlights will do the best to help you book the ticket. Your payment is also 100% refundable.
