China Railway Corporation officially announced a new change on its train ticket sales policy on November 15, extending the sale period for bookings via internet and telephone from 20 days to 60 days ahead of departure. The new policy will take effect from December 1, 2014.

The new policy will increase the online sale period from 20 days to 30 days on December 1, and then add 6 additional days between December 2 and December 6 until the online sale period reaches 60 days on December 6, and thereafter.
