please tell me when is the best time to visit Yunan?

someone has that April to September is the best time to go. but i have never there.

January to April, one of my friends told me before. He is living in Lijiang, Yunnan. I'm plan to visit Lijiang this Nov.

but I was told Summer is the best time to travel to that area. it seems you can go there all year around except winter...
