Dear all, this is my first time to China. I want to know whether there are English TV channels or ont. Can i watch tv in China hotels? Thanks

What English TV channels are available in China?

There is one englishl tv trannel in China. It's CCTV9, which can be watched in cable Tv. City of China can now receive the channel. The channel is mainly focus on news report in China and around the world. There are also many programs on Chinese culture and story. It is a good channel for foreigners who are interested in Chinese culture and Chinese life. You can also learn some simple Chinese here.

If you will stay in hotels more than 3 star, there are many English TV Channels availible in hotel rooms, Channel V, CNN....

HBO can be received in most hotels.

Most hotels provide English channels. Among these I think CNN takes the largest part.....BBC programs are aslo accessible on the internet...
