Hi, I want to visit China this year, but I am afraid that visa is a problem to abtain as it has been shorten to 30 days as I know. Ishat right? I just want to stay about 15 days in China and not sure how to avoid visa expiration. Who could tell me how to avoid that?

Applicant  is required to apply his/her Chinese visa from

the  Embassy or Consulate-General  of  Peoples'  Republic of

China   in   the   country  where  he/she  resides  or  works

permanently.

In the US all Visas are now the same price.  So a single entry visa costs the same as a 1 year multiple entry visa at $130US.  I had not problem obtaining a 1 year Visa even though I only have real plans for a single visit.
