15 days Itinerary

Hi,

I am starting to think in a future trip to China, Feb next year. The initial plan it is to spend 15 days there and reading the posts in this forum there are many places worth to visit. I am going to be traveling with my wife and my 11 years son and I need to define what places I am going to visit and for how many days.

Can somebody help me suggesting and itinerary for this trip ???

Nice to hear that you are planning a 15 days tour to China.  It will be Traditional Chinese New Year in Feb. So I suggest that you experience some new year in some cities. Beijing 3 nights(spend a dinner with a local resident in Hutong), 2 nights in Xian(enjoy JIaozi banquet and night on Ancient Wall), Hangzhou  2 nights and Suzhou two nights water town, Shanghai modern city two nights, Guilin natural sights  three nights(with one or two night in Yangshuo), then fly to Hongkong for your departure.

Cities you definitely should visit: Beijing and Shanghai. And maybe some more like Hang Zhou and Xi An.
