travel the Yangtze River before the flood?

Dear friends, we are in Uk and want to visit the Yangtze River. I learned from papers that the Chinese Givernment are building a huge dam in the river which will raise the water level thus submerging some of the grand scenery along. May i know when this will happen for we want to visit the river before the flood.   thanks so much for your help.   wishes tony
