Purchasing goods in Guangzhou

Purchasing goods in Guangzhou, if you just stay there for a week or so, and need to buy the ideal goods, it’s better to plan the schedule in advance, in order not to waste anytime on the places you need not visit.

However, usually you may need to go through all the markets before you know what they really have, then decide the “target market”, which is very inefficient for you. Why do you have to pay for the room and maybe an interpreter for at least 500 RMB a day just for visiting the place you need not to go?

To reduce the information cost, it’s better to search on net before you decide where to go or just hire a guide or interpreter who can give suggestions on your schedule. Yet, not every information about the markets can be found online even you search in Chinese, because for most of the markets’ introduction, there are just some general words about the goods and the address, not mentioning the styles or any other things you concern. Also, the interpreter may not be able to tell you the exact place you should visit.
