the pagoda is one of the most famous buddhism sites in the region. while in buddhism festivals, the place is filled with pilgrims from countries nearby. temporary shacks selling things of religions are here and there on the venue.

hi Gnoynee do not worry, chance is here for your tour. it's quite easy to reach the site. the lake is atop a mountain in quanzhou, a small town about 2 hours away from guilin. a express bus can take you to quanzhou for 2 hours, then 10 minutes drive to the foot of the mountain. car or foot up to the top, your choice. but be sure you are strong enough for the trek.
