Is it possible to do the Li River cruise now?

Hello, Any one can tell me is it possible to do the Li river cruise early in January maybe Jan 8th? i know that the drought has made the cruise impossible in Dec.

Yes, you can do the cruise but they have changed the cruise route, originally you board your ship at the Zhujiang Pier near Guilin and disembbark at Yangshuo. Now the cruise from Yangdi to Xingping covers only part of the original one but you won't miss the highlights as most of the scenery is in this part.

Besides, it has being raining for 2 weeks and the water is much high now, by Jan the 8th, you might be able to do the whole trip.
