Hey,

My friend and I are going to be staying in Shanghai for two nights near the end of April and are trying to decide on a hotel to book a room.  Does anyone have any reccomendations?

Also, we are going to need to get to Hangzhou to catch a flight to the airport - what is the best way to travel (considering both efficiency and cost) as we are students but want to be safe and don't want to miss our flight.  Also, how early should you be at airports in order to be sure to catch an in-country flight.

Lastly, does anyone have any reccomendations on "must sees" while we are in Shanghai?

Thanks so much.

Kelly

Hi,

Not to miss your flight, you'd better get to the airport half an hour in advance, cause there you have to get your baggages checked. this will cost your time . And you have to spent time on the way to the airport, so just dont forget this. Hope my suggestions are of help.

if you are new to Beijing, i suggest you dont miss placs like the Great wall, the Summer Palace, and  the Forbidden City, as well as Tian'anmen Square.and other highlighs of Beijing are the hutong cruise, and Beijing local  food such as Beijing duck, yuanxiao-special food eaten on the 15th day of the first luner month. As for the hotels, it depends on how much money you want to spend on your tour. Wish you a happy journy  to Beijing
