Sichuan, travel advice

Hi there,

Me and my girlfriend arrive in Chengdu at the 9th of July.
At the 17th of july we leave for our next destination.

We'd like to see a lot of the Sichuan province.
What are places we must visit?
Is it easy to travel around Sichuan starting and ending in Chengdu?

In Chengdu, you can have a visit to the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Base, The Thatched Cottage of Dufu, Magical Face Change in Sichuan Opera 

Because the famous tjourist destination is around the Chengdu city, it will be ok for you to start and end  your trip in Chengdu.
