Is possible to visit Suzhou in one day?

We have only 1 full day to go see the watertowns near Shanghai and need to return that night.. We were thinking of seeing Suzhou, Tongli and Zhouzhuang. Even possibly Luzhi. Is is possible to do all4? I think I would drop Suzhou if I had to because we are really interested in ancient towns. What would your suggestions be and what would be the best way to do this trip. A private guide with car and driver or a small group tour.

Denve, you need at least 4 days to cover all the attractions mentioned above. These towns are distantly spaced. I would recommend a rpivate tour for more flexibility.

Hi: Denve, I am glad to answer your queston.First of all, I would like to tell you something about the information you inquire.The distance from Shanghai to Suzhou is one hour by driving, and the city you mentioned: Zhouzhuang, Tongli and Luzhi is really amazing. But you should spend at least half a day in each of them .And Suzhou has a lots of scenic spots and I don't know which one you prefer to .You just have only 1full day, so my suggestion is that you can select Zhouzhuang and Tongli in one day. Because Luzhi is a little far from other two cities. So, you make decision. Hope you have a good trip.

we, two people, want to make our own tour : Shanghai, suzhou and hangzhou for 3 days 2 nights. we are student so a reasonable price is suitable for us. so what hotel should we stay? what sceneries should we visit and how to get them? how much for the whole of this trip?we are from vietnam. thankssssssss
