Hello Bobby. Glad to help you! Many people are waiting their train tickets to Tibet now. SO it is very difficult to buy a train ticket to Tibet in a short time! Reliable travel agencies can not guarantee successful booking. I recommends you fly into Tibet and return by a train. It is the same scenery when you return from Tibet. And it will be more comfortable by flight than the train.

Hope can help you little. Enjoy your tour at Tibet. I recommended you read some Tibet guide at the following site:

Bobby, unfortunately Tibet train ticket is really hard to purchase during this period of the year. Chinese government and tourism institutes is attempting to ease the" Train Ticket Stress", many efforts having been poured to solve the problem. Hopefully it works soon. You can ask for assitance from a local Chinese travel company ( there are a plentiuful of them online) who may successfully book a train ticket for you.
