China's Railway Bureau has recently ordered changes of trains at Xining Railway Station on the Chongqing-Lhasa/Chengdu-Lhasa or Lhasa-Chengdu/Chongqing rail route during the period from 31st July to 17th October. That means that passengers have to be changed to another train to proceed with the rest journey but there will be no changes of the stops along and car and seat assignment remain the same. Staff at the Xining railway station will assist passengers to find their carriages and board the train.
