When is the best time to visit Tibet
Tibet is one of the most dramatic climate places in china. Though cool in summer, it is extremely cold in winter. The proper time for your Tibet trip is from April to November, the best time is from September to October, avoiding the cold and dry weather from December to February. Mt. What you mention above is the peak travel season when it is more expensive to travel and worst of all, very crowded everywhere. In same case the big gabbering tourist groups really ruin the ambience. I would prefer the low season to enjoy a real tibet away from any congestion.
