Is it still possible to travel to Tibet in december? (if I fly Air China to Lhasa via Chengdu)
A tour consultant had told me that China forbids travel to Tibet in after October. Is this true?

Sure you can visit Tibet in december but the weather will be very cold. I think your tour consultant mean that part of tibet is inaccesible during that times of year because of the unforgiving weather condition-extrenely cold, heavy snow, snowslide. You can travel to Tibet all year around as long as you are prepared with what the weather may throw at you.
