can tour Tibet by train?

i have more questions here. i once read a article about the qinghai-tibet railway of china and it was said: the railway is expected to be completed at the end of this year" and i think is due now. So can i get Tibet by train now or early next year? i know the highliand of Tibet can only access by air but i personally perfer train trip. any help?

According to the latest news, trains to tibet will not be available untill next July. It takes 48 hrs by train from Beijing to Lhasa then. you'd better choose to fly in tibet before that. Good luck with you.

The qinghai-Tibet railway have already completed but it's not yet open to train. Surely flying to Tibet is much more convenient but it take far more money than train.
Train trip is the best way to see people. Actually the Chinese are so interesting that you just want to bring them back home.
