The Hukou (kettle mouth) Waterfall is the second largest waterfall in China. It is located 48 km north of Yichuan County, Shanbei. The Yellow River traverses the great Qinjin Valley in the northwest of the loess plateau. When it flows to Hukou, the more than 400-meter-wide riverbed is suddenly reduced to 40-50 meters, thus forming an extremely large U-shaped waterfall. With a drop of nearly 50 meters. The turblent water falls down into the pool. The sound of the water is great and looks magnificent. One can imagin it before going there. It lets us see the great of the nature and the meaning of greatness of nature.
