Places to visit in Kunming, any idea?

I am from USA who are currently working in Shanghai and I am planning my Kunming trip now. I have been to most places in kunming before and i have visited the ethnic park, the park by the Dianchi lake( i forgot the name). I love the city and looking more interesting place to see. are there anoybody who can give my some idea?    

Stone forest is a good place to visit in Kunming. Jiuxiang is a good choise too. Have you been there?

If you want go further, i would recommend the places aournd Kunming, like the Lijiang ancient town, an amazing place with nice old architecture, time-worn stone lanes. and the snow mountain-Jade Dragon mountain is also a nice palce.

If you want to make  a plan for that in this season ,i thought it's a good idea. Every winter,there are thousands of Black-headed Gulls come  there from Siberia,   you can feed and  play with  them closer.Otherwise, Kunming is a spring city,it's comfortable for travelling.

If you have been visited Kunming, you need go other places in Yunnan province.I recommend Lugu Lake to you. A place for minorities residents. It is a matrilineal society .People there keep their original custom.
