Dragon Snow Mountain and Impression Lijiang

Impression Lijiang is another outdoor folk performance of Zhangyimou, after the Impression Liusanjie in Yangshuo. The Impression Lijiang include Yulong Mount, Tea, Horse Road, and ancient towns as natural settings. The performance features the local customs and flavor of the Naxi minority, reflecting the authentic life of this area. No professional actor or actress are engaged in this grand performance, all participants are the local residence.

I have been taken up to the snow mountain by cable car.The mountain is majestic covered with snow but the high altitude over 4,000 meters above sea level cause serious altitude sickness to many. I tried to move forward but found it not easy to move your steps. It's very windy at the top. I had to go down a few minutes later becasue of the altitude sickness but the pure, mavelous scenery is lingering in my mind.

Looks amazing!  Do they do this performance every day all year round or is it a special festival only in certain seasons?

Jess, I guess they would want to do this performance every day if whether permits, because it is also for commercial purpose.
