The 2007 China International Travel Mart

The 2007 China International Travel Mart was inaugurated in Kunming, Yunan province on November 1^st. This is the fourth time for Kunming to hold the Travel Mart, which will last for four years. The Mart was organized by China National Tourism Administration, Yunnan Provincial People's Government and General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.

Being not disturbed by the cold weather, the mart saw a hot environment. Minority girls and boys with their special and colorful clothes gave the business people from domestic and abroad a wonderful singing and dancing. Many foreign exhibit team also performed their featured programs which assorted many cameras of tourists.

I was in Yunnan last month. The area was very impressive with stunningly beautiful natural sceney of pure blue sky, clear lake,high mountains and the unique culture. The culture and many ways of life are still as they were for many hundreds of years, quite unlike the big cities of, say, Shanghai and Beijing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
