Aberdeen Harbor retains its characteristics of a traditional fishing village in the 1800s. Hundreds of fishermen still live and work on their junks here. Tours of the Harbor can be arranged on sampans pulled by fishermen or on a luxurious modern tourist ship. Two renowned floating seafood restaurants are located here.

3. Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong

4. Bank of China Tower, Hong Kong
The Bank of China Tower is the third tallest building on Hong Kong Island. The 70-storey structure was designed by a Chinese-born American architect. Whereas the block's appearance symbolizes the continued development of the Bank of China, its triangular geometrical shape is considered by many locals to be in huge violation of traditional geomancy, and is believed to greatly adversely affect nearby buildings, including the former Governor's House. .

5. Bird Garden, Hong Kong
Rearing caged songbirds is a time-honoured Chinese pursuit, and the Yuen Po Street Bird Garden is Hong Kong's shrine to this obsession. There are about 70 stalls, each with its own chorus, and ornate cages and cage furniture provide added interest. And while conditions in the average Hong Kong poultry market would give an animal welfare activist apoplexy, the birds here are pampered and cosseted, even fed honey nectar to sweeten their songs. Just north of the Bird Garden there is also a fine flower market, and there is a goldfish market closer to the MTR station in Tung Choi Street.
