3. The Black Dragon Pool, Kunming
A famous Taoist center in the Wulao Peaks of the Longquan Mountains to the north of Kunming. The black dragon pool is composed of two pools, where the water mix together and a stone bridge in the middle dissect the pool into two parts. The left part is turbid, while the right part is clean. What is special with the pool is that although the two pools meet in the middle, the water doesn’t mix; even the fish doesn’t swim to the opposite side of the pool. And the two pools are just clearly set apart, making the pool looking like an Eight Trigrams.

6. Huatingsi Monastery, Kunming
One of the oldest and largest Buddhist complexes in Kunming. There are 572 painted sculptures and more than 260 stone animals and birds, which are of marvelous shape and some romantic feel. Still remained in the temple are 17 stone stele of Ming and Qing Dynasty, along with 7 tower tombs from Qing Dynasty..

8. The Ancient A'lu Cave, Kunming
The Ancient A'lu Cave, reputed as "the first wonderful cave in Yunnan", is located in the southeast part of the province and is a group of Karst limestone caves in large scale. In the Song and Yuan Dynasty, one of thirty-seven old wild tribes called " Alu" once lived in the caves, hence the name "the Ancient A'lu Cave", in which is full of various kinds of unique, natural, wonderful scenes.
