Visitor Rating:
Built in the 17th century, Kam Tin is a village surrounded by high brick walls and a moat. This provided protection against pirates in the past. Nowadays, for a modest fee payable to the Hakka ladies who sit at the entrance playing cards & mahjong, you can enter and see the narrow street alleys & ancient buildings which are still inhabited today.
