Shanghai Zoo covers an area of 70 hectares. In recent years, a lot of new large exhibits were built such as amphibian and reptile house, tropical birds house, and natural birds garden. Now more than 500 species with 3000 specimens are being exhibited. It is a famous scenic spot with best ecological environment in Shanghai.
