A fascinating and enjoyable creation of old Shanghai beneath the Oriental Pearl Tower. You are 'in' the streets of the old city, hearing the sounds and seeing imaginative scenes that use life-size or scale models to show local history from the Chinese view: foreign merchants, opium wars, the 'fun' life of farmers and traditional stores, bars, stock exchange, court scenes and beheadings - you'll need a couple of hours to really enjoy.
