It is located on the side of the highest peak of the Xishan Mountain. As a monastery set up by the roving Chan (Zen) sect monk Xuan Jian in 1306. Well known for its carelessly arranged botanical gardens and flourishing plants, there's a massive gingko tree near the entrance which is more than 580 years old, together with other valuable flowers and trees, consisting a colorful garden.
