1. Seman Hotel Kashi, Kashgar
A huge, rambling old complex in delightful, secluded gardens, the Seman Hotel (Kashi seman binguan) is the most popular place in Kashgar with Western tourists. The hotel is housed in the renovated former Russian consulate which was first built in 1890. It's located on the western edge of the city, about 13km from the airport.
The hotel rooms are clean and all have their own bathrooms. There are various restaurants in the hotel, some of which have English menus. In the evenings, guests can enjoy traditional Xinjiang dancing and singing.
Within the hotel, there is a shopping department, beauty salon, massage center and clinic. There are also different sized conference rooms here, a bicycle rental service, exchange desk, IDD and travel service.
If you don't mind things being a bit noisy from the karaoke bar nearby, the Seman Hotel is a good place to base yourself with good service and friendly staff.

Such a 4-star hotel is located in the city centre, near the Renmin Square. Convenient traffic costs you less than half an hour by car to get to the railway station and the airport. The hotel has a total number of 122 standard rooms, 30 single rooms and 6 business suites. It is worthy of accommodating there because the beds in rooms are relatively larger than other hotels', besides, there is a little icebox and a mini-bar in your room as well. Very modern and considerate. .
