Dong Fang Hotel is established at 1961, one of the classical hotels in southern China, covering an area of over 6,000 square meters including a 10,000 square meter central garden, offering both picturesque surroundings and breath-taking scenery.
it is located at downtown of Guangzhou city, opposite the China export exhibition (Canton Fair Center). 1 kilo meter to train station, 6 kilo meters to airport.
located at downtown, east to Liuhua Lake and west to Yuexiu Hill, just opposite to Chinese Import & Export Commodities Fair and Jinhan Exhibition Center. We boast our unique transportation conveniences: only 2-minute-walk to the Metro Entrance, and it is all less than 30-minute-drive to the Airport, Railway Station, Guangzhou-kowloon Express Station and Guangzhou (Pazhou) International Exhibition Center.

I realy like this hotel and I will be back next time I went to Guangzhou. The rooms have nice touches and housekeeping is efficient. For muslim people, there are two muslim trusted resturants, Lebanies Resturant and AlF Layla Wa Layla Resturant and they are 10 minutes only from the hotel.

This is second time we were staying in this hotel. We love this hotel. It's very convenient to get some shopping done. Room is big and comfortable. Very professional staff.

The hotel is an oasis in busy Guangzhou however the food is very expensive, also only 1 restaurant on 8th floor was open for dinner and they closed at 9:30pm. Pool Bar was not open during the day. Pool is nice and tidy but has hotel rooms on all 4 sides so you only get sun in the middle of the day.

Good environment and good service. Spacious and tidy room. However, the price is a bit expensive and some room cleaning needs to be improved.

It's the first time we went to Guangzhou. We stayed in Baiyun Hotel and we love this hotel. It provides with good service, nice meals, and also a market next to the hotel. The garden is beautiful. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip.

It is a good hotel and will be staying there again, the restaurants are good, all amenities good and the internal garden area a very pleasant feature. There is a choice of designer label goods/clothes or bargain price gear within walking distance, and a short taxi ride to bars and clubs. the rooms have nice touches and housekeeping is efficient.

It's situated at center of Guangzhou with fantastic transport access. I recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a comfort, luxury and entertainment journey.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for a business trip. The environment was nice. Hotel appearance and facilities looked a little old.

The hotel is very convinient for shopping, walking, etc. Many good areas around, metro entrance very near. The gardens are beautiful and is a relaxing way to start the day or to finish it after a hard journey. But hotel looks old and some areas are worn out.

Hotel looks beautiful, nice garden and swimming pool. Perfect location for visiters to the convention centre, friendly helpful staff. Food and drinks very expensive, room can be very far from lobby and central areas due to size of hotel.
