I was in Shenzhen for business and I chosed Shangri La. I had a standard room which was fine. Nice location, just opposite the Luohu costumes to go to HK. Breakfast is ok, high speed internet.

I chosed this hotel for its location. 5 mins walk to Lowu Shopping plaza (just a little road to cross otherwise pedestrian) and 4 mins from Train Station if you come on train from Hong Kong. But maybe it's near the Strain Station, it's sort of noisy. Room average, view is quiet nice. The staff were so helpfull and the service was second to none.

My husband and I booked a Horizon Club rooms for 4 days in advance. Breakfast, afternoon tea and 'happy hour' were included in this price - the club lounge is on the 27th floor. I would say this is truly a 5 star hotel. The service was great, food was perfect and rooms were clean and comfortable.

This is the third time I stayed in this hotel. Everything is excellent about this hotel. Restaurants with delicious cuisine (dinner and breakfast buffet in Coffee Garden and very good steaks in 360 Bar), perfect location (a couple of minutes on foot from the railway station, 15 min on foot from huge shopping mall with brands clothes and skating rink), good room service.

Pleasant hotel convenient for Hong Kong border, but not close to the business areas of Shenzhen. Rooms are what one expects at a Shangri-la Hotel - clean and comfortable. Wireless internet free. Free WiFi in most of the Hotel restaurants and Hotel coffee bar, so if you have an iPhone and download the free Skype app, you can talk for free back to your family for as long as you like.

The Shangri-La is located at the Railway station at Shenzhen, so walking distance from either mainland trains or the Hong Kong MTR system. The staff are fantastic. Very attentive and keen to assist, essential if you only speak English. The Breakfast is excellent. Room has good facilities with great king bed.

Location is excellent. It is an easy five minute walk, via the underground walkway, to the LoWu shopping centre, as well as the local train station. Our rooms were on the 28th floor, taking advantage of mangnificent views of Shenzhen. Food was superb. Staff attitude and service was 5 star.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the shopping mall next to it along with the immigration border to Hong Kong and subway. The staff is good, English speaking and courteous. Although the rooms are a bit small and old fashioned, it's comfortable and clean.

We stayed in Shenzhen for 1 night on the way home from Hong Kong. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The staff did their best to accomodate us. It's really worth the money.

The hotel should spend some money on rehabbing the rooms, at least steam clean the carpets to get rid of the stains. Other than the room conditions, the hotel is a good deal for the money as its so close to the train station, which makes it easy to get to Hong Kong or north to Guangzhou.
