If you can get a harbor view room it is stunning. The views are absolutely breath taking and so calming as well. The light show can be viewed from the room as well. traveling with kids is always difficult but at this hotel it was easy peasy. The staff are so friendly. They even put in a child bed as opposed to those ugly cots that hotels normally have.

Shangri-la is an amazing high class hotel. I stayed at one of the larger rooms and it was what I would call huge. The beds are very comfortable and service is top notch. If you are lucky enough to get a room on the Victoria Bay side, you will have a gorgeous vie of the Hong Kong Island. I will defintely stay here again when I'm back to HK.

We booked a Horizon Club Room for our honeymoon holiday to HK. From the moment we stepped in to the hotel everything was excellent. The way the staff greeted us, the perfect check in at Horizon Club, the service at Horizon Club, the evening meals with wine, the nice view, the room with all the amenities, L-Occitane products in the bathroom, everything was in perfect order. That was really a very good memory among all the other memories from this fantastic hotel.

The walk to the Star Ferry, either out the lobby door through the MTR underground walkways or out the Mez level over a bridge to HK's Walk of Stars on its waterfront can be a bit of a hike. It's pleasant in the morning, but at the end of a long day, and when it is hot and humid, I'd rather have been walking through the IFC shopping mall to the Four Seasons, or the Landmark to the Landmark Mandarin Oriental than fighting the mainland tourists on the walkway, or dodging rush hour traffic in the subway. The HK's crowd can be daunting if your not used to it.

Large clean room, very comfy bed, no extra charge for internet, and good breakfasts, a nice view, and friendly staff.

I really have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Maybe considering the high price of the rooms it would be great to have more variety of the food at breakfast, but whatever they had was phenomenal. The breakfast restaurant was on the top floor and had an amazing view of the Victoria Bay. Hotel location is the best, it is right on the bay in the middle of all the action, right at Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade which is one of the main attractions in Hong Kong. It is within a walking distance to the Star Ferry and high class shopping.

We had a harbour view room and it was amazing to wake up to that every morning. Service was very good and foos was amazing. Evenings in the restaurant are brilliant. Buffet for a very reasonable price, breakfast was delicous. A very comfortable hotel, would definitely stay again.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times, It's still as fresh and classy as it was then, with impeccable service - from the greeters at the airport, to the driver, doormen, bellmen, butlers, in-room check-in, and the most glorious view from the Harbor View Suite. Shangra La knows high-end service and delivers across the board! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a real First Class hotel experience.

Great location in TST, which makes it easy to access the various transportation options like the MTR, Star Ferry, etc to explore the city. Harbor View rooms are preferable due to the fantastic views. In addition to the great view, our room was spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom with separate shower and tub and great amenities.

The hotel from start to finish has been a great experience we arranged a car from the airport which is well worth it, and it is nice to arrive in an S-Class limo. The room itself is big we had a harbour view which for Hong Kong is a must, it was very clean, with so many included items it is too big a list to mention, we even had our own colour printer. Afternoon tea was also included in the room. The bed was large maybe a bit hard for us but still very comfortable, at hotels of this quality it is the little things that make it special, with the Shangri-La it has this in abundance.

Fantastic hotel in the center of the action. With view on the river if you are prepared to pay the upcharge. It is high but worth it. The personnel is very attentive, the breakfast is excellent, you can get anything western style as well as oriental stuff.
