My family took two rooms in this hotel. We were delighted with the small but well appointed rooms. The service team, from the front desk, to housekeeping, restuarant & bar and especially the concierge, was friendly, helpful and informative. Recommendations for cafes & restuarants, direction on the easiest way to get to the Lowu shopping centre, were provided promptly. The staff even told us when the weather turned cold one morning, so that we were adaquately dressed for going out. The rooms were amazingly quiet, even though the hotel was located at a pretty busy location.

Location of this hotel is between the Causeway bay and Wan Chai. By foot, it is about 10 minutes away to the nearest Causeway Bay MRT station and the Times Square. It is quite convenient for shopping in Causeway Bay. For business trip, it is only 5 minutes driving distance from the hotel to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The accessibility of public transport to other parts of Hong Kong also very convenient. For example, just right in front the hotel, there is a bus stop for bus ride to Central Jetty, Sheung Wan, etc. If not, you may also can take the Tram to access to various spots, in which the station just 3 mins from the hotel. They have quite a number of Sushi restaurants nearby. The rooms are not large but definitely adequate.

I stayed here for business. The location was very good in between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay MTR stations. It easy to get to by train from the airport. There was an excellent street market nearby with local produce and lots of fresh seafood. Room is clean and lovely. The bed deserves a special mention - a Sealy mattress with high thread count sheets and pillow cases. They even offer different pillow options! would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is 10 mins away from Time Square, if we walked slowly. We especially enjoyed passing through the colourful local wet market each day on our way out and back. Room is quite clean, although old. Remember to request for business floor between 15-20 and non-smoking room. Basic toiletories (shampoo, shower gel, soap, nail file, cotton buds, tooth brush and tooth paste) were provided. We were given disposal shaver when we asked our friendly chambermaid.

Charterhouse location is excellent, a mere 5 min walk from Times Square, within 5 minutes of getting off the a11 airport bus and it's pretty conveniently located near the main tram line, and there's a tram stop just a few hundred meters away from the door. Plenty of restaurants in the area around the hotel and excellent for shopping as well. As for the hotel itself, the room itself was a little small as well as the room. But it's comfortable.

We stayed for 3 nights and were recommended to stay in the Charterhouse. Good service, great location in Wanchai and a great breakfast buffet. Our VIP room was clean and well maintained. The cleaning service was prompt and very effiecient. The only downside in my view is the tv programme selection they offer. Very poor indeed. No propper news channel (BBC or CNN). All in all it was a very good stay and yes would probably stay in the Charterhouse again.

This is NOT a luxury hotel but the location is perfect. The rooms are very small but give you everything that you need, a clean room with a very good western style breakfast. Less than 5 mins to the MTR in Wan Chai or Causeway Bay. The staff may seem a little rough on the edges but the still are helpful and mean well. If you prefer a larger room, do not stay here.

The room and bed was comfortable and clean and we had a lovely view of the mountains. We did not have an issue with noise, there was little to no street noise in the room we stayed in on the 15th floor. Good location and good value for money.
