The location was a bit of a mixed bag. While the hotel was close to shopping (Coastal City mall) and restaurants. Room is well-equipped. The Internet connection was fast, albeit not wireless. There were several TVs in the room but little to watch as the offerings were mainly Chinese. The bathroom was excellent with a tub and a spacious rainwater shower and double vanities. The only problem is that airconditioning didn't work well during our stay.

I have stayed in Kempinski Hotel Shenzhen several times before and I always enjoy my stay. Rooms are huge and service is first class. You get a beautiful view of the city from the higher floors. Common areas, bar, and breakfast were also very good. Many small restaurants and bars around, shopping centers Poly and Coastal City just two mintes walk, but don't except you will get cheaper things on near by market.

The ambience, the rooms, the view from the room, everything was impressive. The staffs were very friendly yet professional. Though language was a problem but their sweet smile kind of made me ignore the problem. It was a memorable experience for me and I shall definitely go back to that hotel again and again

Nice room and comfortable bed. But very smelly corridor (stained with tobacco smell) just outside the room. I was given a non smoking room but somehow, I had noticed other guests smoking near the lift.

The lobby is posh and grand, one of the biggest hotel lobby I have ever seen. Hotel staff are polite and extremely helpful. It gives a feeling of grandeur with its gold statue right in the middle of the lobby. The bed was soft and cosy. I love the bedroom decoration which reflects Chinese culture. The room was quite spacious. There are shopping malls nearby which you can catch meals if you do not wish to dine at the hotel. The venue is excellent for business trips.

Well-located, convenient for shopping and dining. Room is clean and tidy. However sound proofing very poor. I could hear people talking every am outside my room, which is located near the lift. My advise is that please avoid rooms located near the lift if you are a light sleeper like me.

Beautiful opulent decor and great staff. Room layout and design and comfort is fabulous. Broadband was free and very fast. This was my first stay in a Kempinski hotel - I hope the next will live up to it.

Many shopping mall and restaurants around the hotel. Room is clean but small and a little old.
