My name is Peter and I am taking my first trip to China on the famous silk road that I have read about in school for years. I am a bit nervous, but very excited!! Am leaving on Wednesday morning for Beijing and then onward. I hope to make wonderful memories and share my travels too!

 

The Cuisines of China

During my travel from Beijing to Kashgar, i had a fantastic variety of cuisines which were the most delicious. Being of Guangdong descent, I have only known of cantonese cuisine which is the most known here in the United States. How I was amazed at the tastiness of all the foods in China. Shanghai

My final destination was Shanghai. Paris of the East. And still is. It reminded me of so much of Europe. Particularly Paris and London. However, the vibrant lifestyle has the essence of being in New York City. It was quick and sweet. The Pearl TV tower was interesting and mind-boggling. The Yue Garden was stunning. Kashgar

Kashgar was my last stop on my silk road adventure. I love the old city and it felt like a step back in-time. It was so relax and slow pace which is shocking for someone who lived on the fast lane.  The beautiful Id Kah Mosque was a stunning and awesome for its size. It was quite tranquil inside.
