Actually each of the four seasons on Mt. Huangshan has its respective beauty. Summer and autumn are usually the peak seasons due to the comfortable weather. As for February, the paths up some peaks may be closed due to snow or footpath maintenance.

For travelers over 60 years and can’t walk a long, I think the telphers are suitable for you. You can climb for a distance from the south gate of the mountain to reach Merciful Light Pavilion and then take the telpher to reach Jade Screen Pavilion. If you cannot climb any more, the Jade Screen Pavilion is a good place to appreciate the scenery.

On the way to the peak of the mountain, there are not many steep rock steps and  there are a lot of service centers for tourists.

Longsheng: 90kms from Guilin city and  2-2.5 hours' drive, the Terrence Field in Longsheng are like chains or ribbons spreading from the foot of the hill to the top. And also you can visit Longji Ancient Zhuang Village, it is a well-reserve villages that recently open to the tourist. You can start the tour at 8:30am and back to city center at 4:00pm.

Actually it is suggested to use our tour guide for this day, tour guide will give you background information about the scenic spots you will visit and tell you some other information you may need during your stay in Guilin.
