Gulong Lusheng Festival Video
Huangping County is located in the east of Guizhou province. The county is a hub for Miao people. Huangping hosts many folk festivals held by Miao people each year but the Lusheng festival help in Sep in Chinese lunar calendar is the biggest. The lusheng festival is celebrated at many small towns in the county in turn during the month of September. The main festival culminates in Gulong from Sep27 to 29 when many people from the area gather in Gulong Town. It has the largest number of participants and is well known and has become known as the Gulong lusheng festival.
