Temple of Heaven

Your no-shopping essential tour starts at the Forbidden City. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30am-8:00am. Located in the center of Beijing, the Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty (1368—1644) to the end of the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912). This is a perfect place to learn Chinese culture and history. Duration: approximately 2 hours. The sightseeing in the Forbidden City will be ended at around 10:30.
After that, you will head to the Temple of Heaven. It was the place where the emperors would worship the heaven and pray for rich harvests. And now it is also a good place to experience local life. Duration: 1 hour.
At authentic Chinese lunch will be served at around 12:00 before heading to the next destination- the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace was built in 1153 as an imperial palace for emperors and empresses for short stays away from the Forbidden City. It is the largest and most complete imperial garden existing in China. Duration: approximately 1 hour and a half.
At about 5:00pm, you will be transferred to your hotel.
