Half-day Chinese Cooking Class

Taught in English, the class covers not only how the dishes are prepared, but also the culture and customs. During the class, you will cook three popular dishes with your own set of cooking equipment provided by us. And after the class you can sit down to enjoy your culinary creations and to share your new skills with other students like you.

2-hour Chinese Kung Fu Learning

Follow master Gao to learn the genuine Chinese Kung fu in Yangshuo. Master Gao who is over 80 year old, and his two sons, have created the Budizhen style Kung fu and has practiced it for his whole life. He is skilled at Kung fu flighting, Taiji Quan, and has matered more than 10 flighting weapons, which he will teach you.

2-hour Taiji Quan Learning

Taiji Quan is an internal martial art system which places emphasis on the development and control of Chi (Consciousness) enegy within the body. It is a way to the highest form of life of the human mind and body and suitalbe to all ages of people to practice. In a relaxing and supportive manner, and in a time frame suitable to your convenience, our professional trianer will acquaint you with the soul of Taiji.

Half Day Muddy Bath Adventure in Yangshuo

Drive from Yangshuo to Longmen Village where Buddha Water Cave is located, for a two and a half hour adventure inside the cave. It's the most extensive unaltered subterranean micro cosmos in this area, full of narrow maze-like and sometimes dangerous passages. The most exciting attraction for this trip is taking a muddy bath in a natural muddy pool and then Staking a complete clean-up shower in an underground waterfall pool at the end of this cave.

Location: Longmen Village, 3 km to Moon Hill, 11 km to Yangshuo town.
Tips: Bring your swimsuit and towel and be prepared for a wet and MUDDY experience.

2-hour Chinese Painting/Calligraphy Learning in Yangshuo

Traditional Chinese painting is a combination of the arts of poetry, calligraphy, painting, and seal engraving in the same picture. It reflects the 3000-year-old culture and always be endowed with profound cultural connotations. Within this two hours class, you will be introduced to the theory and basic skills of paining and taught to draw a simple picture by your own by following our teacher’s instruction with the brush, ink, paper, and ink-grind all provided by us. You will be surprised by your potential!

1-hour West Lake Night

This performance reflect the long and splendid culture of that region. Songs, dances, opera, acrobatics and stunts are integrated in the show to present Hangzhou’s rich ancient civilization and remarkable customs. The performance consists of five scenes and lasts around 1 hour. Detailed instructions are given via two electronic screens set up at the sides of the stage .

Half-day Trip to Huxian County

Huxian County is a small county near Xian. It is famous for the farmer's paintings that are produced here. The local people here are skilled at paintings depicting lands, plants, animals, houses and their life. It is a great opportunity to explore the local culture.
