1. Tourist (L) Visa Application
Generally, according to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of People’s Republic of China, you can submit your application to the Chinese embassy yourself; if you cannot go in person, you may entrust someone else or a travel agency/visa agent to transact your application affairs. Documents Required
A neatly filled out Visa Application Form, passport (with at least 6 months validity and at least one blank visa page), and a passport style photo (whether 1 inch or 2 inch is acceptable); valid invitation letter (both the original one and a photocopy are acceptable) from a travel agency authorized by the Chinese government. Group applicants (with at least five group members) should provide photocopies of their valid passports, invitation letter from a Chinese travel agency, three photocopies of name lists of the tourist group.

Visa fees are charged according to your nationality and number of entry or days of duration. Please follow the fee list for reference payment.

Processing Time
- The regular processing time is 7 working days (e.g. submission on Monday, pick up on next Monday).
- Express service: 3–5 working days processing, extra $20 will be charged per visa for Armenian citizens, extra $10 per person for Armenian group applicants, additional $40 for a third country’s citizen.
- Rush service: additional fee of $30 for2 working day processing. (If you apply for one day rush service, you are required to provide the Air Ticket and certificate issued by relevant authorities).
Visa Pick-Up
Visas can be picked up on or after the pick-up date specified in the receipt. The receipt must be presented.

Office Hours
The embassy generally has the same visa section office hours: 9:00am–5:30pm (Monday–Friday, except the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, International Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese National Day).
