1. Tourist (L) Visa Application
Mailed applications are not acceptable. You must submit the application to the Visa Office of the Embassy in person.
Documents Required
A neatly filled out Visa Application Form, passport (with at least 6 months validity and at least one blank visa page), a recent standard passport-size photo (black & white or color ) to be attached to the visa application form; certificate of hotel booking, return ticket and itinerary in China. For traveling to Tibet, you should contact your local travel agency to obtain Travel Permit from the Tibet Tourist Bureau or one of the authorized Chinese travel agency before applying for a visa.
Fee and Payment Method
Visa fees are charged according to your number of entries or duration of stay. Checks are not acceptable; please pay by cash. A refund will not be available if the application is withdrawn or refused.

Visa Pick-Up
Visas can be picked up on or after the pick-up date specified in the receipt. The receipt must be presented.

Office Hours
The embassy generally has the same visa section office hours: 8:30am–12:00am for receiving visa applications (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).
