1. Tourist (L) Visa Application
Generally, according to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of People’s Republic of China, you can submit your application to the Chinese embassy yourself; if you cannot go in person, you may entrust someone else or a travel agency/visa agent to transact your application affairs. In some cases，mailed applications are also acceptable. The detailed information please contacts the Chinese Embassy the Republic of Ghana.
Documents Required
A properly and truthfully filled out Visa Application Form, valid passport (with blank visa pages) and a photocopy of the data page, and a passport style photo to be attached to the visa application form; round-trip flight ticket, hotel reservation, traveler check and original invitation letter from an authorized Chinese travel agency. All the documents have to be submitted in original together with a full set of good quality photocopies. Proof of having sufficient financial support to cover your expenses in China shall be shown to the visa officer in the embassy and to the immigration while entering China in the form of travelers’ cheques.

Processing Time
- The regular processing time is 4 working days (e.g. submission on Monday, pick up on Thursday).
- Express service: 2–3 working days processing, extra $20 will be charged per visa.
- 1 day rush service: additional fee of $30 for 1 working day processing.
Visa Pick-Up
Visas can be picked up on or after the pick-up date, pay the fees when pick up visas.

Office Hours
The embassy generally has the same visa section office hours: 08:30am–12:00am, 3:00pm–5:00pm（of which 9:00am–4:00pm is for receiving submission for visa application, 3:00pm–5:00pm is for visa collection and payment at every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and except the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival, International Labor Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese National Day.
