1. Tourist (L) Visa Application
Generally, according to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of People’s Republic of China, you can submit your application to the Chinese embassy yourself; if you cannot go in person, you may entrust someone else or a travel agency/visa agent to transact your application affairs. Mailed applications are also acceptable. The specific information please contacts the Chinese Embassy in States of Kuwait in detail.
Documents Required
For Kuwait and other Gulf Countries, the documents required are as follows: a completely filled out and signed Visa Application Form, original passport (with at least 6 months validity and at least one blank visa page in it), a copy of the passport photo page (with the issue and expiry dates of the passport on it), and one 2×2 in size photo(black & white or color is acceptable) to be glued or stapled on the application form; a copy of ID is needed for applicants from other Gulf Countries.
For Non-GCC Countries’ applicants, please provide: a completely filled out and signed Visa Application Form, original passport (with at least 6 months validity and at least one blank visa page in it), a copy of the passport photo page (with the issue and expiry dates of the passport on it), one 2×2 in size photo(black & white or color is acceptable) to be glued or stapled on the application form, a copy of Kuwaiti residency (with at least 6 months validity ), and a copy of Kuwaiti ID (with at least 6 months validity ).

Processing Time
- The regular processing time is 5 working days (e.g. submission on Monday, pick up on Friday).
- Express service: 3 working days processing, Additional fee of 6KD will be charged per visa.
Visa Pick-Up
Visas can be picked up on or after the pick-up date specified in the receipt. The receipt must be presented.

You need to go to the Consular Section of Chinese Embassy which holds consular jurisdiction. See figure below. Addresses, etc. follow the office hours info.
