1. Tourist (L) Visa Application
You may submit the application to the Visa Office of the Embassy or Consulate-General. If you cannot go in person, you may entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to transact your application affairs. Mailed applications are not accepted.
Documents Required
For individual :
- A valid passport (with at least 6 months validity and at least on blank visa page) and its photocopy;
- A turly completed visa application form;
- A recent 4x4 photo attached in the visa application form;
- The address of your Chinese travel angent;
- The round-trip tickets.
For group tour (Group visas will usually be issued for groups with at least 9):
- A statement which includes the name of the travel agency , group members, trip date etc.
- a name list of the whole members of the tour group (for triplicate) and one copy of the information page of each passport;
- Group visa application can be sent by express delivery;
- All the group members should come and leave China together.

Processing Time
- The regular processing time is 4 working days (e.g. submission on Monday, pick up on Thursday).
- Express service: for 2–3 working days processing, extra 48,000 Ariaries will be charged per visa.
- Rush service: for 1 working day, extra 70,000 Ariaries will be charged.
Visa Pick-Up
When you collect your visa, you should show the relevant receipt to consular officials.
