1. Tourist (L) Visa Application
Mailed applications are not acceptable and will be refused. You may submit the application to the Visa Office of the Embassy or Consulate-General which holds consular jurisdiction over the place where you live in; if you cannot go in person, you may entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to transact your application affairs. No appointment is required.
Poland passport holders that wish to travel in Hong Kong are not required to transact application affairs if your stay there is no more than 14 days. But a visa is required for those who want to work, study, establish or join in any business or to take up residence. And for those who want to stay in China for more than 14 days, you should transact your application first. If a visa is required to Hong Kong, you may send your applications to Hong Kong SAR Immigration Department (Please visit http://www.immd.gov.hk/index.html for requirements). You can apply directly to or you can also apply through the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in Poland.
Documents Required
Except for a neatly, truly and completely filled out L Visa Application Form for the P.R. China, applicants also need to provide following materials:
- Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and at least two blank visa pages inside;
- A Confirmation Letter from a Chinese Travel Agency or a round trip air ticket with validity;
- Booking hotel information in China；
- As for the family visiting (L) visa: please provide the evidence of your relationship in China and a round trip air ticket;
- Provide your schedule in Poland (if possible);
- One recent passport photo (2 inches X 2 inches) attached on the Visa Application Form, with white background, full-face front view, and no hat. Either black & white or color is acceptable
Fee and Payment Method
All Poland visas cost PLZ 220 regardless of number of entries or duration of stay, including a single-entry L visa, twice-entry L visa, 6-month multiple-entry L visa, 12-month multiple-entry L visa; Group visa will cost PLZ 180 per visa.

Processing Time
- The regular processing time is 1 week (e.g. submission on Monday, pick up on next Monday).
- Express service: 2 working days processing, besides the visa fee, an additional fee of PLZ 50 will be charged per visa.
- No urgent service is offered.
Visa Pick-Up
Visas can be picked up on or after the pick-up date specified in the receipt. The receipt must be presented. Applicants can pay and pick up visas themselves or send an entrusted person or travel agency with the receipt.
