1. Tourist (L) Visa Application

You can apply directly from embassy of China in Apia or apply online to get a visa. No appointment is required. Mailed applications are not accepted.

Documents Required

For individual tourism visa: a neatly filled out L visa form, a original passport (with at least 6 months validity and at least on blank visa page), a 2 inch passport style photo, and documents which explain and prove your reason to enter China

For group tourist visas: a confirmation letter from a provincial tourist bureau or a government-authorized Chinese travel agency, a name list of the whole group member (in triplicate ) and one copy of the information page of each passport

Processing Time

The regular processing day is 4 working days. Besides, the embassy also provides one working day processing and the 2-3 working days processing service, but additional fees will be charged.

Visa Pick-Up

You should go to the visa office of embassy in person to pick up your visa on the pick-up date specified in the receipt. The receipt must be presented.

2. Where to Apply

You need to go to the Visa Office of the Embassy to apply your visa. There is no consulate of China in Samoa.

The embassy will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, including New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter, Anniversary of World War Ⅱ, Mother's Day, National Independence Day, International Labor Day, Children's Day, Tree Planting Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day
