1. Tourist (L) Visa Application

You may submit the application to the Visa Office of the Embassy. If you cannot go in person, you may entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to transact your application affairs. No appointment is required. Mailed applications are not acceptable and will be returned.

Documents Required

A neatly filled out L visa form, a passport (with at least 6 months validity and at least on blank visa page), a 2 recent passport photograph, and Travel itinerary prepared by travel agency

Fee and Payment Method

Only cash is accepted and personal cheque and credit card are not available.

Note: Rush service is available but extra fees will be charged. One working day processing will charge extra fees of 4000 VATU. 2-3 working days processing will charge extra fees of 2800 VATU.

Processing Time

  • The regular processing time is 4 working days (e.g. submission on Monday, pick up on Friday ).
  • Express service: 2–3 working days processing, 2800 VATU will be charged for per visa.
  • Rush service: one working day processing, 4000 VATU will be charged for per visa.

Visa Pick-Up

Visas can be picked up on the pick-up date specified in the receipt. The receipt must be presented. When you pick up your visa, you should the cash to the embassy.

2. Where to Apply

You need to go to the Visa Office of the Embassy to transact your visa affairs.

Holidays Schedule in 2011

The embassy will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holiday, including New Year's Day, Chinese Spring Festival, Good Friday, Easter Day, Labor Day, Ascension Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Independence Day, Assumption Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, China's National Day, and Christmas Day.
